Marlene Payamps is a multi creative who draws inspiration from her cultural Dominican roots and upbringing in New York City. She graduated from Parsons School of Design with a focus in menswear, where she explored pushing different proportions and mixing materials from heavy twills to leather. Her creative process often starts from collages and utilizing existing garments by remastering them to create pushed silhouettes and details. She is passionate through her storytelling and taking the viewer on the journey.

During Marlene’s career at Nike, she created new design spaces where she influenced a modern point of view into the brand DNA. Managing multiple capsules and collections, she gained expertise surrounding material innovation, outerwear, knits and wovens.

At her current role at Calvin Klein, she oversees and manages the womenswear line. Her main focus is conceptualizing a new design space and identity. By collaborating with the atelier from concept stage to production, she achieved creating a library of foundational garments across wovens, knits, suiting and denim.
